A year ago, this is what Jinnie wrote for her 2009 resolutions. Something simple and not too hard to achieve. After 12 months, this is what Jinnie did in 2009:
1. Bought myself a new car- Swifty, the best companion! A new lappy and new phone- Nokie.
2. One of the resolutions I had everyone year is to be physically fit and less fat. However, this is always a failure as I have no patience and not disclipline enough to resist yummy food. I finally achieved this after so many years. Managed to reduce 11kg within 6 months, took away all the fats accummulated throughout what I gained in Melbourne.
3. Another biggest achievement in my life which I never thought I would do is participating in Marathon. This year, I began with 5km Kordel's walk. Then, with the support of my good friends, I enrolled in Adidas King of the Road, this is amazing as I managed to finished the 11km run. Another improvement was finished the 11km Mizuno run and came home with a medal! Apart from that, Jinnie also run for charity in Terry Fox Run; and last but not least, a 7km in Malakoff run and that'll be the last run for the year.
4. A life changing event in Jinnie's life happened in November was getting married legally with the 10 years high school sweetheart. Not only we are going to create a better future, we'll sail through all the obstacles and difficulties in life together.
5. As for Jinnie's favourite travelling, there were only 3 overseas trips this year. One of the new place Jinnie visited was Krabi in Thailand begining of the year. Revisiting Melbourne in May and Singapore two weeks ago. Locally, Jinnie spent some time in Penang, Kuantan, Cameron Highlands just to name a few.
6. Of course, there are things that Jinnie did not achieve, such as back to trading game and getting myself a property. But, that doesn't mean I wouldn't have it in 2010.
Overall, I'm happy with 2009. There were ups and downs, gains and losses, happy and sad days so I can't complain too much. I hope 2010 will be a better one in terms of financially, career path and personal development.
