About myself

I remember one of the most common essay to write back in primary or secondary school is "about myself". No matter what language it is, mandarin or malay or english; first essay of the year would be "about myself". Maybe the teachers are out of ideas, or maybe they really wanna take this opportunity to know more about their students.

We did not stop writing "about myself" after school days. Going for job interview, not only need you to write, you need to present yourself; and even sometimes when you participate in any contest, you need to write in less than 100 words or what....

Think about it now, I think I should write about myself.....

Me, Jinnie- a typical city girl who was born in KL and raised in PJ, a suburb about 20 minutes drive from KL city. Educated in Puay Chai Primary School and Catholic High School (CHS), further study in Swinburne University of Technology based in Melbourne after my 1.5 years Form 6 in CHS.

I did a science degree majoring in Biochemistry and started my career as an Industrial Chemist in Melbourne, a chemical company manufactures goods for the printing industry. I started as a part time Chemist during my final semester in Swinrburne, when the company initially employed me for 6 months and planned to send me back home after graduated. However, I did not come after graduation.

It was kind of fun working in a lab, mixing all the chemicals and doing research and development jobs. But, after my 3 months training in our Manchester Lab in UK, I thought of leaving Melbourne. So, I finally left Melbourne and back for good after living 6 years in Melbourne.

Back home here, I switched to a new career, working in a totally different environment. Now, I'm a Futures Broker Representative, speculating and trading in our local index and palm oil market.

I'm working in the futures market but if you ask me how I see myself in the future, I have no idea. I think no matter what the past was and how the future will be, the most important is live and spend your dashline happily.

I think myself is like my blog, on a journey explore and enjoy the life journey.
